Germany Scholarships Awarded

Yesterday, we formally presented five Germany Scholarships to students at Karlsruhe University’s School of Technology and Business during an online event. The focus of our scholarships is on construction-related degree programs. Thus, the recipients of our scholarships include students of construction management, civil engineering, environmental engineering and architecture. The Germany Scholarship (DeutschlandSTIPENDIUM) is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to promote young talents with the support of private sponsors. It honors oustanding achievements, but also the willingness to assume responsibility within society through social activism or successfully mastering obstacles in one's own life and educational path. Since 2012, we have contributed five scholarships to the program every year.
Sabine Schöck
1937 - 2025

Together with her family, we mourn the loss of our long-standing Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees Sabine Schöck, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 87.

Sabine Schöck played a key role in shaping the work of our foundation from the very beginning.

International understanding was very close to her heart and her commitment to the people from Eastern Europe who were our guests was characterized by great humanity and warmth.

Sabine Schöck's impulses will always be part of our work.
