Germany Scholarships Awarded

Yesterday, we formally presented five Germany Scholarships to students at Karlsruhe University’s School of Technology and Business during an online event. The focus of our scholarships is on construction-related degree programs. Thus, the recipients of our scholarships include students of construction management, civil engineering, environmental engineering and architecture. The Germany Scholarship (DeutschlandSTIPENDIUM) is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to promote young talents with the support of private sponsors. It honors oustanding achievements, but also the willingness to assume responsibility within society through social activism or successfully mastering obstacles in one's own life and educational path. Since 2012, we have contributed five scholarships to the program every year.

With great sorrow we bid farewell to

Dr. Jürgen D. Wickert

Dr. Jürgen D. Wickert served as an advisor even before the establishment of the Eberhard Schöck Foundation and had been a member of the Board since its founding in 1993 until today.

With his vast experience, expertise, and commitment, he significantly shaped, developed, and advanced the Foundation. His passing is a great loss for the Eberhard Schöck Foundation and for all who knew him and had the privilege of working with him.

Our deepest sympathy goes to his family.
