All projects of the foundation in the Russian Federation have been suspended as of 24.02.2022 due to the war of aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Reconciliation and understanding between Germans and Russians remains our long-term goal.
Russian Federation
Since 1999, we have been actively carrying out model projects aimed at modernizing training in the trades in line with European standards throughout Russia. Our largest-scale project is based in Yekaterinburg, Russia, where we began with three professions at the Ural College of Technology and Entrepreneurship. Since then, many other projects have originated here. We have also added new project locations: Krasnodar, Yaroslavl and Beloyarsky. In addition to the modernization of training, we also support the German-Russian exchange of vocational students. Since 2020, we have fostered the development of solar energy in Russia by supporting seminars and training courses.
