Polish vocational school principals visit our partner school in Kiev, Ukraine

The Higher Vocational School for Building and Design in Kiev, Ukraine, our partner in the model project to modernize painter training, is making good use of the newly equipped workshops and their new knowledge to further international collaboration. During a project-related visit by board member Peter Moeller, vocational school principals from Warsaw, Poland and the surrounding areas were also visiting the foundation’s partner school. They participated in a class on ornamental plaster techniques meant to prepare students for a Ukrainian-Polish school exchange program. The Polish visitors were deeply impressed with the school’s state-of-the-art facilities and the skills of the Ukrainian teachers, students and master craftsmen. In the future, they plan to send Polish students to Kiev for select practical courses. This will allow our partner school to generate revenue that can then be reinvested in additional training opportunities.
