Young precast concrete experts presented with awards

19. February 2020Yesterday, Berthold Vigh (AL-Franken-Fertigteil GmbH, Ellingen-Stopfenheim), Niklas Goedeke (Rinn Beton- und Naturstein GmbH & Co. KG, Heuchelheim) and Julian Heimbach (Aicheler + Braun GmbH, Tuebingen) were the recipients of the young talents’ award for precast concrete (Nachwuchspreis Betonbauteile) during the 64th BetonTage in Ulm, Germany. This is an award we and our partners at the Berufsförderungswerk für die Beton- und Fertigteilhersteller e.V. (a vocational development organization for the concrete and precast parts manufacturing industry) present to apprentices in the precast concrete and concrete building block industry for exceptional final exams. The award includes an invitation for the recipients to tour the facilities at Schöck Bauteile GmbH in Baden-Baden and at precast concrete manufacturer Albert Regenold GmbH in Buehl, Germany, as well as the opportunity to participate in a study trip to Italy hosted by the vocational development organization.

Dr. Jürgen D. Wickert
Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors

1944–2026

Dr. Jürgen D. Wickert served as an advisor even before the establishment of the Eberhard Schöck Foundation and had been a member of the Board since its founding in 1993 until today.

With his vast experience, expertise, and commitment, he significantly shaped, developed, and advanced the Foundation. His passing is a great loss for the Eberhard Schöck Foundation and for all who knew him and had the privilege of working with him.

We will always honor the memory of Dr. Jürgen D. Wickert. What he has done for our Foundation will never be forgotten.

Our deepest sympathy goes to his family.
