Workshop for Russian and Ukranian Carpenters in Leipzig, Germany

The carpentry training instructors at our partner schools in Yekaterinburg, Russia and Vinnytsia, Ukraine came together with no reservations. As dedicated carpenters, working together transcended everything. The group found connection in their joint desire to learn and exchange ideas. Practical exercises and workplace safety were the main focus of the workshop, which was highlighted by field trips to sites of interest for carpenters as well as a cultural program.
Support for urban planning

In Kiev, the Eberhard-Schöck-Stiftung (ESST) has agreed to partner with with KNUBA, the Kiev National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, as well as the SFB, a foundation for the promotion of building and construction, in order to extend support for urban planning and engineering. A winter and a summer school for young engineers with a specialization in urban planning have been instituted for 2018, as has the participation in a Ukraine-wide engineering competition and the continued support and modernization of university education in the urban planning sector. The resident expert is SFB Vice President Toralph Weise.
