Yesterday, we formally presented five Germany Scholarships to students at Karlsruhe University’s School of Technology and Business during an online event. The focus of our scholarships is on construction-related degree programs. Thus, the recipients of our scholarships include students of construction management, civil engineering, environmental engineering and architecture.
On October 4, 2020, author Günter de Bruyn passed away at the age of 93. He was a master storyteller in the tradition of realism. Since many of his novels were set in Brandenburg and Berlin and he was the editor of the “Märkischer Dichtergarten”, which garnered him the honorific title of “the (Theodor) Fontane of the 20th century”. The association organizes language partnerships with native German speakers for German teachers in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia und Azerbaijan, who often have little opportunity to use their German skills in practice.
